The American Fiscal Cliff, what is going on?

I have read some Japanese newspaper reports that America is safe from the Fiscal Cliff.  Well there was a lot of talk about postponing it for two months.

The Bill had passed the Senate, but not the House.  And many Republican Congressmen are very angry about the deal, and vowed to send it back to the Senate.

However, after what must have been a lot of backroom arm twisting and wrangling, the Bill did pass the house.  Two days late.

In the link below, Michelle Bachman is mentioned.  And I think that is key to what is happening here.

In 2011 I wrote how the United States nearly went into default.

At that time time moderate Republicans were threatened by the very radical Tea Party and Christian Fundamentalists.

Actually, the Christian Fundamentalists played a big role in creating the Tea Party.

And the Christian Fundamentalist goal is to destroy present day American society, and create their idea of a Bible based society in it's place.

Anyone who is not a Christian Fundamentalist becomes a second citizen, restricted from most important leadership positions in society.

In the last Presidential election, Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry, both strong Christian Fundamentalists, and Rick Santorum, a strong sympathizer, ran for the Republican nomination.

It was very scary to someone like me who understands these people.

They did not win the nomination, Mitt Romney did.

But if they cannot attain power in a regular election, another way to attain power is through creating chaos, and then a coup.

Since there is no other explanation for their bizarre attempts to destroy the Financial structure of the US, I think that they are indeed attempting to create a revolutionary situation.

And Timothy Geithner says the US is about to default, again.

In this New Year of 2013, America is facing drought that has devastated crops, leading to meat and bread shortages this year, and closure of almost one third of it's river transport.

And America has this group of Christian Fundamentalists who are trying to destroy the country so that they can rule what is left.

The Japanese news media always tries to be upbeat and optimistic about America, but the truth is, America is becoming a failed State.

I am glad that I no longer live there, but I have friends and family who do.  I feel sorry for what is about to happen to them.
